What is a CAS for UK student visa?

Answer: A CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) is an electronic reference from a UK Student sponsor (usually your university or college). You need a CAS before you can apply for the UK Student visa on GOV.UK. No valid CAS = no student visa application.
